The Genius in the Autopsy Room

Charred skeletons, terrifying finds in old pieces of furniture, a waterlogged corpse in unusual clothing, mutilated body parts – every day Prof. Dr Michael Tsokos deals with the dead who have lost their lives in mysterious ways. Now the forensic pathologist vividly tells the story of his work in the autopsy room, more grippingly than in a crime thriller, showing time and again how he discovers the crucial clue for further investigations. The true crime cases collected here offer a detailed insight into the daily routine of forensic medicine in an accessible way, demonstrating the paramount role forensic science plays in solving these seemingly unsolvable cases.
