Every Truth Has Its Price – Sometimes It Costs You Everything...

The day that changes his life begins like any other for Gabriel Schumann: the experienced public prosecutor drinks his espresso, casting a fleeting glance out of the window – and sees something in the twilight on the balcony opposite. A woman, a bloodstain, a scream; for mere seconds, but that is enough. Professional curiosity and his unwavering sense of justice drive Gabriel to investigate privately. These lead him deeper and deeper into a darkness that reaches far beyond the neighbouring flat. Gabriel begins to cross boundaries he has spent his entire life defending. Suddenly, the rational legal expert is driven by an emotion he has never permitted before: doubt.
